Growing up in a family that realized investing in Real Estate was the way to "Get ahead in Life", my parents bought their first house for $14,000. My father got hurt on the job and his company paid him $500.00. That became their down payment on the homeThat was more than 50 years ago and my mother still owns it today. Today it's worth over $600,000, owned free and clear, and my mother receives rental income every month.
Real Estate is just not about today, its about increasing your wealth and securing your future.
I took my first step into the Real Estate world of investing when I was married and raising three daughters. It was a pastime that I did for family and it gave me personal satisfaction. As my family became more independent, I decided it was my time to pursue my dream of getting my real estate license. I started my career in 1994 in Leavenworth, then took the knowledge gained and combined it with the Wenatchee Real Estate market. I believe this has projected me into a unique situation. It combines experience in a recreation market that includes vacation homes, raw land, and small businesses with a residential market of homes & lots in subdivisions. I'm able to work with clients that have special needs financing as well as the sophisticated high end purchaser.
Throughout these years I've taken courses that keep me in touch with regulatory changes that affect our industry and consumers. I always wanted to possess a Brokers License. To achieve that goal you have to take hours of required classes, pass tests, and have years of experience under your belt. I obtained my Brokers License in 2000.
To give back to my community, I'm involved with Wenatchee Business and Professional Women. In the past I've enjoyed working with the North Central Washington Home Builders, North Central Washington Realtors Make A Difference Day Food Drive, and the Prudential Annual Halloween Event.
My personal life is in a different phase and I'm enjoying new pursuits. Watching the Seahawks play at Qwest Field is now on the agenda of things to do. Discovering new wineries in Lake Chelan and Wenatchee is fun in the summer. Visiting my youngest daughter at WSU and traveling to California to see family. I've always loved to bake and try new recipes. Snowmobiling is a new pleasure that I'm looking forward to doing this winter.
Call me when you're ready to "Get ahead in Life" I would delight in helping you invest in your future.
